This authentic German mini keg arrives in Aldi stores for German Week!
The official Oktoberfest in Germany has been cancelled this year because of the pandemic, but that hasn’t stopped Aldi from staying right on schedule. German Week at Aldi is coming up for the ad week starting Sept. 16!
Aldi brings us lots of authentic German favorites each September — expect to find mustards, sausages, strudel, schnitzel and more in your store.
But Oktoberfest is about more than the food, right? That’s why we are so happy that Aldi is also bringing us authentic German beer this fall.
This Wernesgruner Mini Keg contains 169 ounces of imported German pilsner. While prices for alcohol vary by store because of local taxes, you can expect to find this in your Aldi store for around $17.
That’s a few dollars less than you would expect to pay for comparable imported mini kegs in many other stores — where they run $20 and up.
Now, not all Aldi stores sell beer and wine, so you may want to check to be sure yours does before making a trip. You can get more information about the how and why of Aldi stores and alcohol here:

Where can I buy one of these? Can you tell me which store has them near Charlotte
Very disappointed that aldi stores in east gippsland have not stocked any 5 litre beer kegs that were advertised in their august catalogue. For the past few years we have purchased these for grand final weekend but none this year… shame on you aldi…
